#subscribersquadnation ; I am alternating between boat trips & shore fishing. I know tournament guys who still walk the bank. In this episode ; don't get into anything big like our last trip to this body of water ; & if you watch , you will hear why. However , we were able to pattern a square bill bite on one of my favorite, most fish producing shallow crank bait; the Rapala dt3 fat. My theory behind why this has been discontinued is marketing / sales. If I didn't hear about it from Mike Iaconelli years ago, how would I have known about it? If the
"Pro's " are the only ones throwing it, well they don't pay for baits. So there goes the neighborhood on one of the best square bills ever made - hands down. Its not only the wobble / action of the bait - it's the PROFILE. This bait has a unique shape, all to it's own , and being a balsa , silent bait , it's just a producer.
