Apatros Review Ep-0185: I Am Number Four [2011]

AR-0185: An absolute misfire of an attempt to start a film franchise of a YA [Young Adult] fiction book series, this is a case of generic science fiction tropes transplanted onto Millennial tastes, about a group of aliens - the last survivors of their race - being hunted down by some nasty b@$+ards, their last hope being to regroup and fight back.

Written according to cliches of this genre, this flick was symptomatic of the scourge of the YA fiction market, which has yet to produce a good work [although the closest was the movie adaptation of "The Host"... Yeah, I said it!]. You might get a decent laugh out of it, but it is best avoided unless you're a masochist.

My Grade: D [Bad]
