Incinerated poem by Aarron Laidig

A poem titled "incinerated" set to music. This is part of a collection of poems called "maudlin poetry with white russians in a windowless room." The title explains itself perfectly as these poems are maudlin, the recordings were done in a windowless room, and the beverage of choice was white russians.
The original poem is below.

Set alight
see your heart flame
stricken by heat

Warmed by the fire
wary of being burned
wanting to be consumed

Turned from the hearth
taunted by the glow
tantalized by the embers

Laying now on the pyre
longing memories of warmth
living in the cinders
