NEW: 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, the male suspect who assassinated Charlie Kirk, is seen receiving a scholarship for Utah State University, in a new video circulating online.

On Wednesday at approximately 12:20 pm MT, the suspect shot and killed Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University before jumping off a building.

On Friday morning, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a suspect has been taken into custody, adding that he was turned into authorities by his own father.

Sources told Fox News that he was arrested in southern Utah.
