Ingredients:
2 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 garlic cloves, minced
A splash of milk

3 tbsp cornstarch (or as needed to make a smooth dough)

Seasoning:
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp gochugaru (optional, for color)
Salt & pepper to taste

Garlic Butter Paste:
Melt butter in a pan and sauté the minced garlic.
Add flour and cook for about a minute to form a roux. Add a small splash of milk and mix until it turns into a smooth paste.

Potato Mixture:
Combine the garlic butter paste with the mashed potatoes. Add garlic powder, chili flakes, gochugaru, salt, and pepper. Add cornstarch gradually and mix until it becomes a smooth, non-sticky dough. Let it cool slightly before shaping.

Shape the Rings:
Flatten the potato dough and cut out ring shapes using a round cutter.
OR Roll into balls and poke a hole through the center using a stick or the back of a piping tip for an easier version. Fry until golden and crispy. Enjoy hot with your favourite dip!
