President Donald Trump was attending the New York Yankees game on Thursday night to mark the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. He honored the memories of victims at the Pentagon earlier in the day. Later, President Trump made his way to the locker room of the Yankees as the team hosted the Detroit Tigers. Fans who were planning on attending the game were urged to arrive early, as significant security and street closures are expected.

Only small clutch-style purses measuring no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches will be allowed inside for the game. Other items, including bottles, cans, liquids, laptops and tablets, are prohibited, and there is no storage area for restricted belongings.
