Sean Scarritt - Entheogenic Medical Research

Sean Michael Eric Scarritt is an entrepreneur and thought leader working at the intersection of emerging industries, psychedelic science, and global innovation. As co-founder of the Entheogenic Medical Research Centre, Sean is a vocal advocate for responsible psychedelic research and policy reform. His career spans award-winning documentary filmmaking, leadership on multimillion-dollar public infrastructure projects, and groundbreaking work in cannabis and psilocybin research.

Sean has led R&D teams specializing in minor cannabinoid synthesis and psilocybin extraction, and has provided cannabis manufacturing consulting across the U.S., Canada, Colombia, and Southern Africa. His work bridges science, culture, and commerce with a focus on ethical development and sustainable impact.

When he’s not in the lab or on stage moderating panels on psychedelic science and legacy, Sean can be found climbing rock faces or getting lost in classic and contemporary science fiction.
