Manhunt Underway for Assassin of Conservative Christian Charlie Kirk

The assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk as sparked an outpouring of grief, shock, and anger. In the words of Utah Governor Spencer Cox, "Our nation is broken."

Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was an outspoken Christian who leaves behind a wife and two young children.

A massive manhunt is underway. Investigators believe the shooter, dressed in dark clothes and wearing a mask, fired one round from a high powered rifle from a rooftop approximately 200 yards away. Two suspects were taken into custody but later released.
