🌟 Faith That Shines in the Darkness: The Martyrs, the Empress, and the Light of Christ 🌟

Beloved in Christ, in our Sacred Legacies series today, we remember holy women who lived with courage and devotion.

✝️ Saints of the Day
* Menodora, Metrodora & Nymphodora — three sisters who lived in prayer and purity, and gave their lives for Christ during the persecutions of 304. Their weakness in the world revealed the strength of Christ.
*
* Saint Poulcheria the Empress — a wise ruler who defended Orthodoxy, supporting the Council of Ephesus and affirming the Theotokos. She shows us that holiness can be lived in any station of life when the heart belongs to God.

* We also continue the Afterfeast of the Nativity of the Theotokos with a strict fast, reminding us that joy and discipline go hand in hand.

📖 Scriptures for Today
* 2 Corinthians 13:3-13 — Christ’s power is made perfect in weakness. We must examine ourselves and rejoice in His grace, love, and communion.

* John 3:16–21 — “For God so loved the world…” The saints lived in the Light, showing us that truth overcomes fear and darkness.

✨ Takeaway for Mind, Body & Soul
* Mind: Believe and live the truth of God’s Word.
* Body: Serve Christ with discipline, fasting, and courage.
* Soul: Rest in His love and walk in His Light.

🙏 Closing Thought
Like the martyrs, let us stand firm. Like Empress Poulcheria, let us defend the truth. Like the Theotokos, let us always point to Christ, the genuine Light.

Pray 🙏 for Charlie Kirk and his family
