A Calendar's Crucial Role in Society

September 2025 meeting of the Republican Seniors of Minnesota. Aside from meeting formalities there were two guest speakers:

Our first guest speaker is 2026 Minnesota U.S. Senate candidate, Royce White. He discusses his top priorities in "The Border • The Debt • Forever Wars" and then addresses questions from the audience.

Our featured speaker is Rick Smith, a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Mr. Smith provides a fascinating discussion of the history of calendar reform, the difficulties of aligning mankind's date-keeping with astronomy and agricultural seasons, and the crucial role calendars have in our culture.
