Hakeem Jeffries Says Gov. Pritzker Is a Model on How To Fight Crime

Reporter: “... perhaps it will be a huge issue in the midterms. Some new AP polling came out that showed that 68 percent of the majority of Democrats in large cities, like New York, say that crime is a problem, 81 percent of all Americans believe that crime is a problem in large cities. So when you see Democrats out there, whether it’s J.B. Pritzker or anyone else, that say, crime is down, we don’t need to worry about it. Is that out of touch?”
Jeffries: “I think Governor Pritzker is doing a tremendous job on behalf of the people in the great state of Illinois and is committed to continuing to drive crime down in Chicago, as Democrats are committed to driving crime down all across the United States of America.”
