In this clip, Altman finally breaks his silence about his former employee Suchir Balaji, that was found dead in his apartment in 2024, who also accused OpenAI of Copyright infringement.

Sam Altman: “It looks like a suicide to me.”
Tucker Carlson: “How does it look like a suicide?”
Sam Altman: “It was a gun he had purchased
.this is hard to talk about. Sorry. Does it not look like one to you?”
Tucker Carlson: “No. He was definitely murdered, I think. There were signs of a struggle, The surveillance cameras had their wires cut, he had just ordered take out food, and come back from vacation with his friends, on Catalina Island, no indication at all he was suicidal. No note, no suicidal behavior
he had just spoken to a family member on the phone. And then he’s found dead, blood in multiple rooms. That’s impossible. It was really obvious he was murdered.”

To me, personally, this interview makes Altman look even more guilty than before, due to the fact that he says it looks like a suicide. It looks the exact opposite to most people who are not connected to the case who also acknowledge all of the strange occurrences, leading up to Balaji’s death in his San Francisco apartment.
