Virginity Test is a Myth

Many people still believe in myths about the so-called "virginity test."
Scientifically, there is no such thing as a “hymen wall” that proves virginity.
The hymen is just a thin membrane with different shapes. Some people are even born without it. Others can have sex and the hymen remains intact.
👉 This means the hymen cannot prove whether someone is a virgin or not.
The World Health Organization has clearly stated that virginity testing has no scientific or medical value and should be banned.
The only medical examinations related to this are in cases like sexual assault, and they involve DNA testing—not a so-called virginity certificate.
Virginity is not something physical you can check. It simply means a person has never had sexual intercourse.
