In this week’s study we touch on the parallels between Christ’s Second Coming and the account of Joseph in Genesis. We review that Jerusalem has been under siege by the Antichrist for three days, and the remaining Jews in Jerusalem are at the end of their rope when they suddenly come to faith and then the Lord returns. At the same time, the remnant in Botzrah is under the threat of attack by the split forces of the Antichrist. We learn that it’s in Botzrah where the Lord first arrives at His return, not Jerusalem. We go to the Hebrew Bible, (known today as the Old Testament), to get a detailed account of Jesus rescuing the Jews from the Antichrist and his armies, the judgement of the Antichrist and the end to the Tribulation.
