Summary: "Who Shot Seth Rich?" - Key Points with Timestamps:

- (00:00-01:38) Ray McGovern introduces presentation on "journalism suicide and murder," focusing on media corruption around the Seth Rich case and Russian hacking narrative, noting that 80% of Americans believe Russians hacked DNC emails to help Trump win

-(02:28-04:02) Timeline established: June 12, 2016 - Julian Assange announces upcoming Hillary Clinton emails; July 10, 2016 - Seth Rich murdered in Washington D.C. (labeled robbery but nothing taken, FBI takes over case); July 22, 2016 - WikiLeaks releases DNC emails showing bias against Bernie Sanders

- (04:54-05:44) August 9, 2016 - Assange implies Seth Rich was his source and offers $20,000 reward for information about his murder; accomplished reporters like Patrick Lawrence immediately recognized the "Russia did it" narrative as a "magnificent diversion"

- (08:16-09:00) October 1, 2016 - Intelligence officials release memo claiming Russian attack despite having no evidence; Jay Johnson later testified Obama forced them to issue the memo before CrowdStrike (FBI's chosen cyber firm) had completed their forensics investigation

- (17:40-20:05) Technical analysis by former NSA experts determined the DNC data was copied locally (like onto a thumb drive) rather than hacked over the internet, with no trace of internet exfiltration found

- (24:30) CrowdStrike executive Sean Henry admitted in classified testimony that there was "no concrete evidence" that Russia or anyone else actually hacked the DNC emails, despite claims of evidence that data was "set up to be exfiltrated"

- (36:54-41:29) Columbia Journalism Review published extensive investigation by Jeff Gerth in 2023 indicting U.S. journalism's handling of the Russia narrative, though key testimony about lack of evidence of Russian hacking was omitted from mainstream coverage

- (50:43-53:04) FBI initially claimed they had no records on Seth Rich, then admitted to having "too many" records after persistent legal challenges; ongoing court case scheduled for March 7th to force FBI disclosure of Seth Rich files

FBI Director Kash Patel faces an early test this week. Will he be able to get the FBI to comply with the latest Court order to release data on the murder of young DNC worker Seth Rich on July 10, 2016? U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant, tired of years of FBI foot-dragging, has given the FBI a deadline of Friday, March 7.

Below, Ray McGovern sets forth evidence suggesting Seth Rich was murdered for giving DNC data to WikiLeaks. The data in question showed that Hillary Clinton and the DNC had stacked the deck so steeply against Bernie Sanders that he had zero chance to win the nomination.

To divert attention from the content of that data, and to accuse Trump of a bromance with Putin, the Democrats, Establishment media, and intelligence chiefs combined forces to blame Russia for hacking the DNC emails. That was easily disproven.

BUT, sworn testimony of Dec. 5, 2017 by the head if the cyber-firm CrowdStrike exposed that red herring, and showed that the DNC data was not hacked – not by the Russians nor by anyone else. Indeed, a year before (on Dec. 12, 2016) Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, pointing to technical evidence, reported that the data came not from a hack, but rather from a leak by someone with access to DNC computers.

“Russian hacking the DNC” has been the cornerstone of Russiagate from the start. The hacking charge is the one dimension of the Russiagate operation that directly exposed open-and-shut connivance among the DNC, top intelligence officials, and corporate media. The hack story was the one thing that left no allowance for blur and obfuscation. That is why it was untouchable. It had to hit the cutting room floor.

No Russian hack? The inevitable next question: Who copied the DNC emails onto a thumb-drive and gave it to WikiLeaks?

Can Director Kash Patel force the FBI to come clean? We should know more on Friday.
