He describes mammon as a demon that deceives people into believing they are self-made, excluding God from their blessings. This self-centered, self-sustaining system makes the pursuit of money about oneself rather than God. He points out that the mind is the key factor that differentiates God’s way of provision from the mammon mindset. Those aligned with mammon often doubt God’s ability to provide and, in doing so, view everyone relying on God’s divine provision as fraudulent. However, Joseph assures us that if we seek God’s kingdom first, all other things will be added to us.

Joseph also references Ezekiel 28:14-17 to reveal the identity of the founder of hell’s economy and the reasons for his wickedness. He cites Job 4:12-21 to illustrate Lucifer’s delusional lamentation and how his hatred for humanity led to rebellion against God. The devil not only harbored these illusions but also tempted Adam, ultimately stealing the authority given to him by God. Yet, Jesus came to recover the authority stolen by the devil, and we need a revelation of Jesus to break free from the system of darkness.

He further clarifies that both God and the devil are territorial; whoever controls our minds and actions governs that territory in our lives. Therefore, we can drive out the Babylonian mindset and system by embracing Jesus and His ways.
