British Farming with Neil Darwent, British Food and Farming Advocate & Founder of produceandprovide.co.uk.

Neil Darwent has spent over 30 years managing a diverse range of farm businesses in England and more latterly worked as a farm business consultant, helping farmers with technical advice and farm business planning.

He is founder and director of Produce & Provide Ltd, a company he started in 2020, that promotes more than 1,000 farmers selling produce direct to their local communities. Neil previously ran a dairy farming business in Somerset covering over 1800 hectares of land with 13 dairy herds producing 18 million litres of milk a year. In 2013 Neil established his own 'Free Range' milk label to help traditional family farms deliver the brand into stores.He has long been a British food and farming champion.

He is a Nuffield Farming Scholar and spent time studying dairy farming in both Australia and the USA. He was voted BBC Outstanding Farmer of the Year in 2014 and has appeared on British television in connection with his work.
