Houston Police Shoot Suspect in Aggravated Robbery Case After Pursuit

On August 10, 2025, Houston Police Officers were searching for a 34-year-old suspect believed to be involved in multiple aggravated robberies. Officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The suspect briefly stopped to inquire about the reason for the traffic stop before getting back into his vehicle and fleeing the scene, initiating a pursuit. The suspect stopped his vehicle at 8800 Aspen Meadow Drive and exited with two firearms. Officers gave verbal commands for the suspect to drop his weapons, but he did not comply and raised one of the firearms toward officers. Officers discharged their weapons, striking the suspect multiple times. Officers rendered aid to the suspect until paramedics arrived at the scene. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. No officers were injured.
