One Pan Asian Chicken and Rice

Ingredients
2 chicken breast, sliced into bite sized pieces
1 red bell pepper, sliced
5 Green onions, sliced, whites and greens separated
4 garlic cloves minced
1 1/2 cups jasmine rice, rinsed
2 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

Directions
Combine soy sauce, honey, onion powder and garlic powder together in a bowl.
Heat oil in a pan or medium high heat.
Add chicken and cook for 2 minutes.
Add more oil and sauté bell peppers, whites of onions and garlic for 1 minute.
Add water and sauce and bring to a boil.
Lower heat to medium low, cover and cook for 25 minutes, until the rice is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in green parts of the green onions.
