The Gospel reading challenges us to be neighbors to all, even those we consider less than ourselves, like the Samaritan in the parable. This means recognizing the dignity of every person, regardless of differences, and letting go of grudges, prejudices, and judgments. By doing so, we open ourselves to God’s love and grace, fulfilling His command to love our neighbors as ourselves.
