After 800 years of silence, the oldest pipe organ in the Christian world has been restored and is now playing again at Saint Saviour's Monastery in Jerusalem's Old City. Composed of original pipes from the 11th century, the organ was buried with the hope that it would one day play again. The organ was discovered in 1906 and had been hidden in an ancient cemetery until its recent rediscovery. It will now be housed at the Terra Sancta museum, just kilometers from the church where it originally sounded.
