When The Action Starts You'll Be Down To Your Reflexes - And The Action Is About To Start

Today I speak to you as your pastor, apostle and fellow soldier: we’re living an adventure, and God is calling His people to wake up, take their authority, and be ready for an abrupt season of shaking and breakthrough. I felt pressed to share (Jeremiah 14), practical next steps, and a rallying challenge to live in obedience and spiritual reflex.

Introduction: A Morning Interrupted That Became a Test

We started the day with a technical hiccup — a camera and software issue that could have derailed our gathering. Instead, it exposed something deeper: instinct. When things go sideways, what do we do? Freeze like a deer in headlights, or default to prayer, tongues, worship, and the active exercise of authority? That small interruption became a metaphor and a test of readiness. "This Has Been A Test of Heaven's Emergency Broadcast System" The Lord used it to reveal how quickly many of us revert to passivity instead of spiritual reflex.

Core Truth: Satan Fears One Thing — You Discovering Your Authority

I want you to hold this single principle: Satan doesn’t care if you get to heaven or not. He has no jurisdiction there. What terrifies him — what he fights through the use of religion, politics, gossip, and intimidation — is you discovering and exercising the authority God placed inside you. Once you understand that the power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you, he has lost his entire grip on you.

"The only thing that Satan is terrified of is you understanding and using your authority because the minute you understand that authority and the minute you use it is the minute he himself is finished."

Religion can look like God, smell like God, and even sing the songs of God while denying the very power God gave His body. That’s why division and denominational bitterness are tools of the enemy: a divided body is a defeated one. The remedy is obedience and the discovery of personal authority rooted in relationship with Jesus — not performance, not ritual, but relationship and obedience.

Jeremiah 14: A Word About Withheld Rain and Preparedness

Early this morning I wrestled with a burden. I asked the Lord if the heaviness I felt was my flesh or His voice. He answered me through Jeremiah 14. Read in context, this chapter describes a land parched for rain, people shamed and desperate, and false prophets promising peace when calamity is real. That passage is not merely historical — it's a prophetic lens for our day.

Key lines that cut deep:

Judah's wells are dry; the people return with empty pitchers — a picture of lack and confusion.
Though the people's sins testify against them, the plea is: "Act now for your name's sake so the faithless may witness your faithfulness."
The Lord warns not to pray for the good things for a people who love to wander — obedience matters.
False prophets promise peace and comfort; God exposes their deception and the danger of listening to sayings that tickle the ear.

God's voice to Jeremiah pulsed through me: we must repent, re-center our devotion, and be disciplined in obedience. The shaking we’re warned about is not primarily punitive for the righteous — it’s purgative for structures of wickedness and a sifting of hearts. The shaking will be sudden; preparation must be constant.

The Great and Terrible Day: Imminent, Sudden, and Both Judgment and Deliverance

When I speak of the "great and terrible day," understand there are two sides to the same coin. For the wicked, the day will be terrifying. For the remnant — for those with eyes fixed on Jesus and ears tuned to His voice — it will be great. The Scriptures and the convictions the Spirit has pressed on my heart point to a season of rapid shift: economic, social, and spiritual upheaval that will reveal hidden allegiances and false foundations.

Practical signs to watch (not to obsess, but to prepare): banking stresses, supply chain issues, systemic credit crises, sudden external shocks. These are metaphors for a larger spiritual shaking that will reorder nations and structures. The Red Sea moment I prophesied in the video is both literal and figurative: armies and systems will seem to surround us, but God will open a way in His timing.

What This Means for You
Do not wait until the flood to gather oil, community, or provisions — build these now.  If you prepare it when you need it; it's too late.
Your spiritual reflexes must be trained: pray, speak in tongues, and praise when interruptions and crises come.
Refuse messages that merely entertain or tickle ears. Test every voice against the Word and the still, small voice of the Lord in your secret place.
Be ready to receive prodigals, to shepherd a harvest, and to give hospitality and refuge when many will be searching for truth and safety.
Practical Training: Where Your Reflexes Show

Champions don’t become champions when the whistle blows; they’re made through the sweat of training at dawn. So it is spiritually. When the action starts, you’ll be down to your reflexes. That makes road work, secret time with God, and habitual obedience essential. If you’ve trained in the dark of night — prayer, fasting, worship, tongues, decrees — you will not be found wanting under bright lights.

What should your daily spiritual discipline include?

Secret time with Jesus — early, patient waiting, not impulse-driven devotion.
Consistent use of spiritual weapons: praise, intercession, prophetic decrees, and speaking in tongues to build your spirit.
Intentional obedience in small things — the Lord weighs obedience more than sacrifice.
Learn to hear God’s voice; spend time alone with Him until His voice outweighs every other noise.
A Story of Confirmation

I wasn’t looking for validation, but the Lord sovereignly brought a stranger’s video into my feed — a man with only a handful of subscribers who spoke almost the exact language I had been prophesying. This was not coincidence; it was divine confirmation that many voices, unknown to one another, are now aligned by the Spirit to warn and prepare the Body. You don’t need to chase prophets; you need to seek God. He will bring confirmation to your ears if you are listening.

Obedience Over Comfort: Why Now Is a Season of Sifting

Obedience has been a repeated theme. God is sifting the hearts of His people like a prospector sifts for gold. There will be shakings — many will fall, including in the house of the Lord — but this is a refining process. God’s judgments on His own are loving and restorative, intended to ready us for mantles, increase, and the wealth transfers He promised.

Yes, He spoke to me about a coming season of mantles and filled buckets; yes, the wealth transfer is real. But there is a required posture: repentance, patience, heart-sifting, and worship. Black rock — counterfeit foundations built by the world — will fall. Stand on the Rock: Jesus.

How to Respond Right Now

Here are practical steps you can begin this week to align with what I’ve been sounding forth:

Begin each morning with 15–30 minutes of quiet listening — not a checklist, but listening for His voice.
Practice speaking scripture back to God out loud; words reinforce internal transformation.
Build a small supply strategy now — food, water, community contacts — without panic hoarding.
Create a trusted circle of believers who will pray, encourage, and guard one another.
Stop following voices that only promise peace and prosperity without calling for repentance and obedience.
Encouragement: You Are Not Abandoned

Even if family fails you, the Lord holds you close. Even if false prophets deceive many, God remains faithful to His remnant. The power that raised Jesus from the dead is in you. The authority given to Christ to crush the enemy is now delegated to the body of Christ. Your identity is in Him. When enemies appear to come against you, they will stumble and fall as you stand in the sanctuary of the Lord.

"When the action starts, you're down to your reflexes. That's where your road work shows. If you cheated on the training in the dark of the night, you're gonna get found out under the bright lights."

Final Word: Fix Your Eyes, Keep Your Ears Tuned, and Obey

I don’t deliver these messages for shock value. I press them into you out of profound love. God is giving us a window — an opportunity — to prepare. This is not fear-mongering. It is a summons to holiness, training, and readiness. Worship, persistence in prayer, obedience in the small things, and a relentless focus on Jesus will carry you through the coming season. When the Red Sea rumbles, when executives and governments falter, when supply lines stutter, you will not be found scrambling if you’ve trained for the moment.

Stand firm. Love fiercely. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Listen for His voice in the morning and obey in the moment. The harvest is coming — and God is raising shepherds. Don’t be distracted by counterfeit peace or voices that deny the need for repentance and discipline. Be fortified. Be ready.

I love you. I’m praying for you daily. Stay tuned, stay prepared, and keep your eyes on the Lord.
