Truckers Using the Floor as a Toilet? The Story That Shocked Mechanics

This video actually triggered a memory from before the lockdown, when my husband was working for Armour Transport. They had a truck with a hole cut right in the floor — and instead of stopping for bathroom breaks, the drivers would literally 💩 through the hole. When the truck eventually went in for repairs, the mechanics were horrified to find piles of human waste on the undercarriage. My husband told me about it, and I’ll never forget that.

**You know, I had my other account taken down because I’ve been vocal about the trucking industry — and I’m not going to change my opinion. If I lose another account, so be it.

Here’s the truth: when you load up a truck and send it rolling down the highway at 100 km an hour, you’d better make damn sure there’s someone behind the wheel who knows what they’re doing. This business of hiring new Canadians who drive semis like they’re sports cars is a recipe for disaster. There’s just no way around that.

One of the biggest problems these days? The logbooks. Now they’re all digital — on your phone, logging in and out automatically. You don’t have to write in English, you don’t even have to read English. Stop the truck, it logs you out. Start it again, it logs you in.

And the trucks themselves — most are automatics, at least the ones these guys are driving. They can’t back up properly. All they know is how to hold the wheel straight and drive as fast as they can to make money. That’s the way it was in their country, and they’ve brought that same mindset here.

If you don’t believe me, look at the increase in highway fatalities and accidents. Ask any big tow truck company who they get called out for the most — they’ll tell you. Don’t take my word for it, do your own research.

This has to stop. We cannot sacrifice human lives — no matter who they belong to — just to save money on the highways. That’s not OK. We wouldn’t hire pilots based on who’s the cheapest; we hire the best. So why should we have a different standard when it comes to truck drivers? This has to stop.**
