Truckers Using the Floor as a Toilet? The Story That Shocked Mechanics

This video actually triggered a memory from before the lockdown, when my husband was working for Armour Transport. And the trucks themselves — most are automatics, at least the ones these guys are driving. They can’t back up properly. All they know is how to hold the wheel straight and drive as fast as they can to make money. That’s the way it was in their country, and they’ve brought that same mindset here.

This has to stop. We cannot sacrifice human lives — no matter who they belong to — just to save money on the highways. That’s not OK. We wouldn’t hire pilots based on who’s the cheapest; we hire the best. So why should we have a different standard when it comes to truck drivers? This has to stop.**
