Russian deception

Russia is now made it clear they will not back away from Ukraine, we completely believe the talks were used to try to buy time to put other plans in place, even stating that if foreign personnel were boots on the ground, and we take this as if UN peacekeepers were deployed in Ukraine that Russian troops would engage them by their own statements.
