📖✨ Returning to the Sacred Roots ✨📖

Friends in Christ, I’m excited to share that I’m returning to my daily Sacred Legacies teaching videos! We’ll be returning to the basics: the lives of the saints, the daily Gospel and Epistle readings, and what they mean for our mind, body, and soul.

Today we celebrate a joyful feast: The Nativity of Our Most Holy Lady, the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary. Born to Joachim and Anna after years of barrenness, Mary’s birth is a miracle of hope. Through her humility, she became the one who would bear Christ, the world's Savior.

We also remember St. Sophronios, Bishop of Iberia, a shepherd who lived with faith and humility and showed us how to serve God’s people with love.

📖 Readings:
• Luke 1:39–49, 56 – Mary goes “with haste” to Elizabeth, teaching us to let faith move us to action.
• Philippians 2:5-11 – Christ’s humility, His kenosis (self-emptying), shows us how to think, act, and live.
• Luke 10:38-42; 11:27-28 – True blessedness comes from hearing the Word of God and keeping it.

💡 Takeaway:
Mary’s “yes” to God changed the world, and Christ’s humility saved it. The saints remind us to live humbly and faithfully every day.

May today’s feast inspire us to carry Christ in our hearts and share Him in our words and actions. 🙏
