What is the context of the biblical phrase “faith without works is dead”?
What are “good works”?
Are there separate laws of works and of faith?
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” (Romans 10:4)
