A small single-engine Cessna made an emergency landing Sunday afternoon in an agricultural field near Henry Mayo Drive and The Old Road in Valencia, prompting a large response from Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics.

Fire officials said the aircraft went down in the field shortly after 5:08 p.m. Emergency crews arrived to find the plane upright with no smoke or fire visible. The two occupants on board were able to evacuate on their own before first responders reached the scene.

Multiple Los Angeles County Fire Department units, including Engine 76, Battalion 6, and paramedics, were dispatched, along with AMR ambulance crews.
The small plane, identified by its tail number as a Cessna, came down in a crop field just west of Interstate 5. From the ground, the landing appeared controlled, and firefighters could be seen surrounding the aircraft as a precaution while medics checked the passengers.
