Day 250 – Israel’s Rebellion and the Sword of Judgment — Ezekiel 20–21 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

In Ezekiel 20, God recounts Israel’s long history of rebellion, from Egypt to the wilderness to the land itself, reminding the people of His patience and holiness. Despite their repeated unfaithfulness, God promises to one day gather His people and purify them. In chapter 21, the imagery shifts to a sharpened sword, symbolizing God’s judgment against Jerusalem and the nations. Together, these chapters reveal both God’s righteous anger at sin and His faithful intention to redeem His people.
