A mini armored ATV with level 3 ballistic protection

The LD-1 from TC Burton Enterprises is a modular armor kit that transforms a Polaris Sportsman 850 ATV into a ballistically protected vehicle. With NIJ Level 3 armor, the LD-1 can stop rifle rounds up to 7.62×51 mm while maintaining agility and speed. Lightweight panels mount directly to the ATV frame, giving 360° coverage, and can be removed when not needed. Unlike full-size armored vehicles, the LD-1 can maneuver through hallways, warehouses, and tight spaces indoors, while still handling rugged terrain outdoors. Currently available to the U.S. military, federal, and state agencies through GSA contracts, the LD-1 fills the gap where traditional armored trucks can’t go.
