Surveillance footage was released showing the moments before the fatal stabbing of #IrynaZarutska a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, on Charlotte’s Lynx Blue Line on August 22.

The suspect, #DecarlosBrownJr 34, sat behind Zarutska before allegedly stabbing her in the neck with a folding knife.

Zarutska was pronounced dead at the scene; Brown Jr. was hospitalized for a hand injury and later taken into custody.
