Conspiracy and Perjury: Joseph F. Smith and the Polygamy Affidavits

Joseph F. Smith collected dozens of affidavits claiming that Joseph Smith practiced polygamy. They’re often used to counter the claims of monogamy affirmers: “Surely they wouldn’t lie!” Well, it turns out they would—right up to and including LDS apostle and future church president, Joseph F. Smith.
