This is one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever heard from someone in power. A Canadian police chief straight-up told citizens: if your home is invaded, don’t fight back—comply.

Think about how insane that is. The one person who’s supposed to stand between you and chaos is telling people to just accept being a victim. That’s not safety—that’s surrender. And it’s the logical endpoint of gun control.

Canada didn’t start with compliance. They started by banning AR-15s, claiming “nobody needs them to hunt deer.” Then they froze handguns, eliminating an entire category of firearms overnight. And after all those bans, did crime stop? No. Instead, families are shoved into closets, seniors are begging for mercy in their own living rooms, and criminals break into homes knowing their victims are defenseless.

This isn’t safety. This is helplessness dressed up as policy. It’s the reality of what happens when government strips citizens of their right to self-defense. And now the police chief is openly telling citizens to comply with criminals—a mindset that creates victims, not protectors.

Contrast that with leaders like Sheriff Grady Judd in the U.S., who openly tells citizens: protect yourself, defend your family, because the police can’t always be there in time. That’s the difference between a government that treats you like a child and one that respects you as a responsible adult.
