Grove City Police Department Pursuit of Theft Suspects Ending In Fatal Crash

Grove City police identified two theft suspects, Christopher Reed and Kelly Wise, both 47, as the suspects killed in a crash fleeing from officers before they later crashed into a stone pillar in a Greenlawn Cemetery, killing them both.

Officers said Reed had stolen merchandise and drove dangerously before losing control. No officers or bystanders were injured.

Grove City police said they were pursuing the duo after Reed committed a series of thefts at several retail stores in that city.

Both occupants of the car were transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. Wise was pronounced dead at 7:32 p.m. Reed was pronounced dead at 7:41 p.m.
