3. Why?
a. Sense of egalitarianism, "everyone is special" oxymoron.
b. Equating America with racism/slavery.
i. No one denies it happened.
ii. But not the only thing that happened.
iii. Read the histories in cuneiform. It didn't start in America, but it ended here.
iv. It's Reductionist. It's Simplistic. Factually incorrect, and an insult to Abraham Lincoln (the last casualty of the Civil War)  and Ulysses S Grant and every union soldier who died.
