Marvel is Reportedly Adding a Female Punisher to Spider-Man: Brand New Day

It’s being reported that Marvel will include a female counterpart to Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said in the past he wants as many female characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, as male characters and it’s looking like that will happen in the next Tom Holland Spider-Man movie. These latest rumors about a female Punisher are unconfirmed and don’t say whether this will be an original character, one based on a comic character, or what some people are referring to Florence Pugh’s character as.
