Too Bad IL Gov. Pritzker Didn't Direct His 'Message To Trump' To The Violent Criminals In Chicago

Posted • September 5, 2025: By now many Democrats have gone out of their way to make it painfully obvious that they have a very real fear that President Trump and his administration will prove to people that violent crime on the streets of American cities is a political choice and not an inevitable reality. As you know, over Labor Day weekend more than 50 people were shot in Chicago, with several of those being fatalities. Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker just says "hey, comes with the big city territory": —— Reporter: “This past weekend, 54 shot, 7 dead…” —— Pritzker: “Look, big cities have crime!” https://rumble.com/v6yfwry-pritkzer-hands-gop-a-gift-with-wildly-tone-deaf-answer-to-question-about-ch.html —— Actually that just comes with the territory of cities that are run by Democrats. This should not be considered "normal": —— "WHEN IS IT ENOUGH?!" Woman randomly knocked out by career criminal in downtown Chicago.

Add it all up, and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker would like everybody to believe that Trump is a big part of the problem because he wants to put a stop to the violence: —— JB Pritzker @JBPritzker: “My message to Donald Trump is very simple.” https://pbs.twimg.com/media/G0CxTuoXYAE6SDx?format=jpg&name=medium —— As usual, the Left projects onto Trump everything that they do and support. This is no different. —— It would be nice if Pritzker felt this way about any of the thousands of criminals in Chicago. Because he clearly doesn’t. Your reminder that 59 people were shot in Pritzker’s largest city last weekend, yet being president is his only focus, much like the governor of California… "Hey Trump, do NOT destroy democracy by trying to prevent criminals in our cities from killing each other" is another interesting position for the Democrats to be taking, but here we are. The Dems need to be reminded in next year's midterms that their TDS-driven lunacy at the expense of average citizens isn't appreciated. Will that happen? We'll find out in a little more than a year.
