The Day After

"The Day After" (1983) is an American version of the later 1984 British climactic war drama TV film, "Threads."

The nuclear war movie with commentary describes a fictional conflict between NATO and the Warsaw Pact over Germany that escalates into a full-scale nuclear exchange between the United States and the Soviet Union.

The movie produced as a semi-documentary was also broadcast on Soviet state TV in 1987.
