For many years I was an actor in Hollywood. I wasn't famous, but I saw what was going on in Hollywood as a child and hung out with a lot of what they would consider 'young Hollywood' for many years before I was radically saved.

I want to make the argument that Hollywood's influence is fading. I don't think people care as much about what these Hollywood actors and actresses have to say and I don't think as many people are watching their films.

Hollywood, for many decades has been like a modern day Babylon, a center of influence, entertainment, and idolatry. It's shaped culture, often exalting sin and promoting a worldview contrary to God. Yet in these days, we are witnessing its influence diminish and its allure fading and its stronghold weakening.
