Biblical Audio Commentary – The Key to God’s Kingdom

In our age of easy believism, God’s requirements for how we are to live in Him have been largely forgotten. Since all we need is love, as the song goes, then God in His amazing grace demands nothing of us in return. Yes, that’s true regarding initial salvation – all we need is repentance and true faith in Christ alone – but that’s not the end of the story. There’s the tiny matter of who God is versus us as His creation. Are we little gods, divine in our own right because we’re made in His image? Or, for those who think this way, might they be confusing image and kind from the creation account? In other words, we have God’s likeness in our human characteristics, but we are not made according to His kind. His kind is divine, holy, and without equal.
