Why Dubai Sheikhs Keep DANGEROUS Cheetahs Like House Cats?

In Dubai and other parts of the Middle East, some rich sheikhs are known for keeping wild animals like cheetahs as pets. These cheetahs are treated like house cats — they ride in luxury cars, sit on sofas, and even go for walks on leashes. But this is not safe or normal.

Many sheikhs keep cheetahs to show off their wealth and power. A cheetah is not a common pet, so having one makes them look special and important. On social media, they post pictures with these animals to impress others.

But cheetahs are wild animals. They are not meant to live in houses or be pets. They can get scared or angry and hurt people. Keeping them in cages or homes is not good for their health. They need open land to run and hunt, which they don’t get in a rich person’s mansion.

Many countries have banned this, and even Dubai now has strict laws. It is illegal to keep big cats as pets without special permission. But still, some people secretly keep them. This is dangerous for both people and animals.

Wild animals belong in the wild — not in cars, palaces, or selfies. They are not toys or status symbols.
