The following is a chronicle of the DPR for September 4.

In the context of the ongoing military operations, Russian troops advanced along the Novoselovskoye direction, reaching the Volchya River line. The liberation of Novoselovka has been achieved, and on the southern flank, assault groups are engaged in combat on the outskirts of Ternovoye. It is worth noting that progress is also being made in the western region of Novopolya.

In the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd direction, armored groups of the Russian Armed Forces advanced to the outskirts of Mirnograd and established a defensive position in industrial zones proximate to the mines. In the northwest, strongholds near Grodovka have been eliminated. However, to launch a successful attack on the city, it is imperative to secure the node near Nikolaevka. Assault groups are reported to be advancing in forest strips along the approaches to Pokrovsk.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, control has been expanded in Mala Tokmachka and north of the line Rabaatyno-Verboviy. In the area of Kamenskoye, Russian troops have made significant progress, advancing within the boundaries of Stepnogorsk and successfully clearing a substantial portion of Plavni. However, the presence of enemy forces persists along the outskirts.
