250 years of our exponential growth

In this episode I first explain what exponential growth is, how you can recognize it, and what the doubling time is. Then I go through the history of the exponential of our race's consumption of resources, which started toward growing exponentially in the late 1700's. First our consumption of coal oil and gas, and then our consumption of minerals, food, plastic, and textiles. Our consumption of resources has been doubling roughly every 22 years.
