MR. NON-PC - New Car Prices Today...Are The Old Home Prices Of Yesterday!

So recently I went out to eat across from a Toyota dealership. And as I was heading back home I noticed the price one of their new midsized SUV's, it was around $65,00.

Now this isn't a shock to me, and maybe you've noticed this as well. But can we all remember (and you'll end up showing your age like me if you do 😆) when the average nice "starter home" 20 years back was around $65,000??

I feel bad for the younger generations who can't even have a real chance to buy their first vehicle (hell....even used cars are double what they used to be) and are missing out on one of the first biggest steps of being independent.

Also too, there's too many younger people who place too much preference on their cars, and ignore their living situation. Hey....we were all young once, we all had our "car days" but then we started prioritizing more important things as we became older.

The sky high new car trend is yet ANOTHER debt trap, don't fall for it. My advice would be (and do what you want of course) to keep driving and maintaining your current vehicle, or look into buying a nice used car.
