A key driver is the unprecedented surge in central bank gold demand, with purchases exceeding 1,000 tons each year for three consecutive years. For the first time since 1996, central banks now hold more physical gold bullion than US Treasuries in their reserves, signaling a global shift away from the US dollar.

Silver is also gaining strength, supported by a fifth consecutive supply deficit, soaring industrial demand from green energy, defense, and AI, and its expected addition to the US Critical Minerals List in 2025.

Experts stress that while gold prices make headlines, gold’s true value is in its role as a long-term store of wealth. With strong fundamentals, both metals may still have significant room to run.
