Christian Unity

II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV
[1] But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: [2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, [4] traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

I don't go to Beacon Baptist Church because I have the same interests as everybody else. I go and am an obedient member because my spiritual family is united in the word of God.

Anybody that has ever even met me will tell you that I am an odd duck. Most places, I don't fit. It can be very easy to examine our experience and formulate doctrine, but our doctrine must be centered on the word of God.
