Highlights include the dismantling of 25 illegal cryptocurrency mining centres in Angola, the disruption of an inheritance scam in the Ivory Coast, and the targeting of a vast online investment fraud in Zambia. The crackdown comes amid a significant increase in cybercrime, with online fraud reports spiking 3,000% in some African countries over the past year, as per an Interpol port.
