North Korea’s Kim Jong Un debuts daughter and potential successor to the world

North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un brought his young daughter, Kim Ju Ae, to Beijing for the 80th-anniversary WWII celebrations, marking her first known trip outside the country.

Observers suggest her presence may signal her potential role in future succession, following the North Korean tradition of introducing heirs to China to build political relationships.

Analysts caution, however, that her youth, gender, and lack of military experience make it too early to confirm her as the next leader, CBS News has reported.

Kim’s prominent positioning alongside Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin at the parade underscored his political win and the normalization of North Korea-China relations, strengthening his international standing and influence.
