EXCERPT:
"Welcome to tonight’s Shuv Show Short. I’m your host, Christene Jackman.
The Topic: “Is that Engineering, or what!” AKA: God’s a Genius. Super Genius.
Tonight’s engineering marvel found in nature: Chalaza: kuh-LAY-za, or plural: kuh-LAY-zee.
What is a chalaza? If you said, “It’s that white string thing attached to an egg yolk,”
you’d be egg-zactly on target.

The chalazae (kuh-LAY-zee) are attached both to the yolk and to the firm albumen (egg white). The cool thing is that one white string twists clockwise and the other one at the small end twists counter clockwise. This provides stability. The chalazae enable the yolk to remain suspended in the center of the egg. The growing embryo attached to the yolk is then protected from adhering to the hard shell, which would expose the embryo to potential contamination and death.
My friends, this is not evolution. This is engineering.

If you see a nice-sized white chalazae in a raw egg, that is . . . "
