Things get spicy in Matthew!
Some of the most exciting (to me) portions of Matthew - the miracles!
The how and the why.
Pay particular attention to the numbers, and who is a Jew and who is a gentile. The circumstances: who's on a bed, who's not on a bed. The order, having to do with water, etc There are hidden treasures here....I can FEEL it, lol.

-The leper is cleansed

-The Roman centurion's servant is healed
...by PRAYER! And Jesus marvels at the gentiles faith!

-Peter's bedstricken mother-in-law is healed

-The storm is rebuked. The power of the Prince of the Air is put down. And the waters calmed.

-Legion is cast out into the 2,000 pigs...and drowned. (Do you Noah anyone else like that?)

-The demoniac of the tombs is cast out

-Bedstricken palsey is forgiven and the man walks away

-The woman touches the genealogy of Jesus and is healed of 12 years of bleeding

-Jarius' daughter of 12 yrs old is raised

-2 blind men healed and can see.

Why are the LEAST of the Kingdom of Heaven greater than John the baptist? My opinion answer down below. But don't take my word for it, think on this yourself-

Why are the least of The Kingdom of Heaven greater than John the baptist?
Because John saw face to face-
while those of the kingdom would believe and follow Jesus WITHOUT seeing Him -
but by faith and grace, even unto the loss of their lives.

«But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him,

Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.»
John 20:24-29
