The Cry of Epstein’s Victims: Transparency, Justice, and an End to Impunity
The harrowing words of a Jeffrey Epstein survivor, spoken with courage and bluntness, have once again brought to the forefront the true magnitude of the magnate’s crimes and the complicity of those around him. In her public testimony, this victim not only recounted the abuse she personally endured but also clearly exposed the power mechanism that allowed Epstein to operate for decades: protection from the elites, the complicit silence of the entertainment, fashion, and political industries, and a government that, far from stopping him, let him act with absolute impunity.
A Predator with a License to Destroy
“Epstein could boost a model’s career, but also destroy it if she didn’t do what he wanted,” the survivor declared. This phrase precisely describes the control system the magnate built: offering opportunities in exchange for obedience and subjugating young women who resisted. The abuse was neither isolated nor secret. “In New York, countless young women were abused by him; everyone in the industry knew, and yet he was too powerful to be stopped.” Epstein used model visas as a tool of exploitation, manipulating immigration statuses to ensure silence and submission.
What is revealed is not only the perversion of an individual but a criminal network that functioned thanks to the active or passive complicity of those who saw Epstein as a source of benefits.
Friends in High Places: The Protection Network
The question is inevitable: how could Epstein, a serial predator, operate in plain sight for so long? The answer lies in his connections. “He had friends throughout our entertainment and arts, and his value to those friends made him untouchable,” the survivor denounced. Artists, businessmen, politicians, and billionaires benefited from his network, and that utility made him immune to justice.
The scandal goes beyond individual abuse and exposes an uncomfortable reality: Epstein was a cog in a power system where money and influence are worth more than the dignity of the victims. Epstein’s network was not an accident or anomaly; it was a reflection of a global web where corruption, favor trafficking, and impunity feed each other.
Most alarmingly, many of those “friends” still hold positions of power, enjoy social prestige, or even influence international politics. Meanwhile, the women who were used, silenced, and discarded continue to bear the scars of what they endured.
The Government’s Great Failure
The survivor was clear in pointing out that Epstein did not act alone. His ability to manipulate visas, move international capital, and operate as a human trafficker for decades could only exist under the protection of government institutions. “Who was he to our government that he was allowed to operate openly for decades?” she asked. This question resonates not only in the United States but also in all those countries where Epstein wove his exploitation networks.
The truth is that the judicial and immigration apparatus saw him act repeatedly, and instead of stopping him, they shielded him. Here lies a central point: Epstein was not simply a criminal with money; he was an operator protected by a system that prioritized the powerful over the victims.
The Survivors’ Demand: Release the Files
In her statement, the victim made a call that echoes in public opinion: “Transparency is justice. Release the files, end the secrecy, and declare that no one—neither billionaires, nor politicians, nor world leaders—is above the law.”
The so-called Epstein Files remain sealed. They contain names, records, and evidence that could uncover the truth about who participated, who facilitated, and who benefited from this abuse network. As long as those documents remain hidden, the message is clear: justice yields to power.
Congress now has a historic obligation. If it truly represents the people and not the elites, it must release those files and prove that in the United States no one is above the law.
A List Made by Survivors
Institutional passivity has led victims to take the reins of truth. The survivor announced the creation of an independent list, built by the very women who lived through Epstein’s horror: “Fifteen of us have been discussing creating our own list of names. We know the names. Many of us were abused by them. And it will be made by survivors and for survivors. No one else is involved.”
This announcement marks a turning point. If institutions refuse to act, survivors will expose the magnitude of the cover-up. And when that list comes to light, no media campaign or political power will be able to stop the outrage of the American people.
The Republican Vision: Action, Not Rhetoric
For Republicans, this case is not just an isolated scandal. It is a symbol of how the global elite has built a system to protect their own while victims are rendered invisible. Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the Republican Party has reiterated that accountability must be total:
Demand the immediate release of the Epstein files.
Investigate all officials and agencies that allowed his impunity.
Ensure that survivors have a voice in the judicial process.
